- Kirk is an active member of the Home Moravian Band and Salem Congregation Easter Band, Kirk plays the euphonium horn, contributing to the vibrant musical culture of his community.
- Kirk is an avid gardener, currently working on a challenging project to grow a 200-tree orchard of cherries, hazelnuts, apples, and pears in Carroll County, Virginia. On weekends, he enjoys spending time at his property along Big Reed Island Creek in Dugspur, Virginia, where he can be found puttering around with his dogs.
- Kirk’s love for classic cars is evident in his ownership of several vintage vehicles, including a 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 and a 1972 VW-Porsche 914. His past “car sickness” includes a variety of classic cars, each with its own story and character.
- In addition to his legal work, Kirk has written screenplays and an unpublished novel. He hopes to return to fiction writing in the future. He also enjoys paddle sports and dreams of spending more time sailing.
- Kirk has also explored his creative side by writing screenplays and a novel (unpublished, for now). He hopes to return to fiction writing someday, drawing on his rich life experiences.
- An enthusiast of paddle sports, Kirk enjoys being on the water. He also has aspirations to spend more time sailing, embracing the freedom and adventure that comes with it.
