W. Kirk Sanders

Attorney Kirk Sanders is a lifelong citizen of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He graduated from North Carolina State University (B.A., 1992) and Wake Forest University School of Law (J.D. 1995). He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina as well as the Middle District Federal Court.

Personal Injury: Kirk Sanders also represents personal injury clients, including wrongful death cases, bicycle wrecks and motor vehicle accidents. He tried multiple personal injury cases and litigated medical malpractice cases.

Fiduciary Litigation: Another area of focus for Kirk Sanders is as Trust Dispute & Estate Litigation attorney, such as will caveat cases (contesting a last will and testament), whether representing the caveators or the propounders. Kirk has a number of $1,000,000+ case resolutions.

Outside the practice:

Kirk is a member of the Home Moravian Band and Salem Congregation Easter Band –euphonium horn.

Kirk gardens and is attempting to grow a 200 tree orchard of cherries, hazelnuts, apple, and pear trees in Carroll County, Va. On weekends he can be found puttering around a rough patch of land along Big Reed Island Creek in Dugspur, Virginia with his dogs (directions: go to the middle of nowhere and take a left).

Kirk has owned an assortment of “classic” cars – presently a 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 and 1972 VW-Porsche 914 1.7 liter with lots of patina. His past car sickness includes: Jeep J10, ’72 Triumph Spitfire, ’72 TR6, a ‘74 & ‘62 MGB (he owned that one twice), ½ interest in a 1974 BMW 2002 tii, and an MGA.

He’s written screenplays and one unpublishable novel. Someday he’ll write fiction again. He enjoys paddle sports. He wants to sail more too.
